The cottage's comfort and facilities met and exceeded our expectations and we all enjoyed a lovely relaxing weekend. Miss R, Liverpool, Merseyside 08 March 2011
This is a recently converted barn, which has been finished to a high standard. The cottage is in an excellent and is in a lovely peaceful setting. It is an ideal base for outdoor activities in Bala and the National White Water Centre. We only stayed for a long weekend and would have loved to have stayed longer to explore the area. Mr K, WORTHING, West Sussex 06 May 2010
Fantastic size and setting. Can't wait to visit this cottage again. Mr L, CHORLEY 17 January 2010
This cottage is spacious, modern and well equipped. It's in a very peaceful countryside location so it feels really rural, but it's pretty close to Bala for getting supplies or eating out. We were mainly walking, and the cottage has a great, warm utility area which is fantastic if you have muddy/wet shoes and need to hang coats/clothes. It is only about 1 hour to Snowdon so if you want to climb it, it's not too far and well worth the effort! Dr S, Towcester, Northamptonshire 13 September 2009
The cottage is very spacious. Above all we appreciated the location: very quiet and beautiful views. Mrs D, LONDON 08 September 2009
The cottage is well worth a visit as it is very clean and spacious and I would recommend it for families. Although it is very quiet in the surrounding countryside it is close enough to Bala for the shops. The Eagle Inn in the village is within walking distance and the food is excellent. During our stay we visited King Arthurs Labyrinth, Llechwedd Slate mine, Portmeirion and went Whitewater Rafting. Mrs B, Oldham, Lancashire 24 August 2009
We appreciated the total peace - waking to bird song and the river, but it is still very close to super shopping in Bala. Driving along quiet lanes with the best views I have ever seen or walking/cycling in Coed y Brenin. Dr M, SHEFFIELD 05 July 2009
